SACRED HEART CENTER, INC. RE-OPENS ITS NEWLY RENOVATED AND UPGRADED FACILITIES
After 43 years, Sacred Heart Center, Inc. announces the blessing and re-opening of its newly renovated and upgraded facilities on December 3, 2019.The blessing coincides with the feast of St. Francis Xavier, Jesuit Saint and patron of missions.Embarking on a new chapter of “Business with a Heart,” the launching of its newly enhanced facilities is the Center’s commitment to service with a mission.

The ceremonial ribbon cutting and launching will be done by His Excellency Jose S. Palma, DD, Archbishop of Cebu, assisted by the Jesuit Fathers of Sacred Heart Parish, as well as the Sacred Heart Parish and Ladies Associations.

The newly renovated Sacred Heart Center is equipped with seven (7) function rooms that can accommodate from a minimum of 50 to a maximum of 950 persons. It also has sports facilities that include a swimming pool, a basketball court and an indoor gym. Its newest addition is Café Cristina, a coffee shop with two meeting rooms that can accommodate 15-20 persons each. Aside from its regular all-time-favorites, it now serves all-day breakfast, other meals, desserts and beverages. Café Cristina is open from 06:00 AM to 10:00 PM.
The Sacred Heart Parish Ladies Association, Inc.manages and operates the Center’s facilities similar to a social enterprise. Its income is used to fund social projects such as daily feeding program for undernourished pupils of Zapatera Elementary School. The feeding program has been running regularly, from Monday to Friday, for 21 years, supported by the Center’s operations. Other social projects of the Sacred Heart Parish Ladies’ Association include visiting the sick, free catechism for non-sectarian schools, mass weddings, activities for the youth and projects that support the Parish’s mission.
Sacred Heart Center, Inc. is owned by the Jesuit Sacred Heart Church and private stockholders who are mostly parishioners, as well as members of the Sacred Heart Parish Association, Inc. and Sacred Heart Parish Ladies’ Association, Inc.
