ALGOrhyThm Robotics Center Opens in Banilad Town Center Cebu!

October 8, 2022 opening of ARC was a success, ALGOrhyThm Robotics Centeris a private institution that specializes in training kids with hands on, interactive courses involving robotics, design and programming.

These are the things to expect on their way of teaching

STEM ROBOTICS

Programs are designed to teach and develop basic science, technology, engineering and math skills

CREATIVITY ENGINEERING

Students are taught the fundementals and process of engineering design, and they will spend a lot of time designing and building their own robots in a fun and safe environment.

PROBLEM SOLVING SKILLS

Each student will be encouraged to think outside the box as they invent solutions to real world problems.

COMPANY PROFILE

ALGOrhythm Robotics Center (ARC) is a robotics school that aims to provide competitive and dynamic education to children of ali ages to gain knowledge and skill in programming and building robots to help them have a limitless future and become competitive 21st-century citizens. The ARC studio is at Banilad Town Centre in Cebu City, Philippines. 

ARC offers both Robotics Academic Programs and Robotics Enrichment Programs. These programs are available for in-person (studio classes), online (virtual classes), and hybnd formats. The Robotics Academic Program assists academic institutions in providing their students with affordable but in-depth, hands-on, and progressive robotics classes. The Robotics Enrichment Program holds small-group and one-to-one lessons at our studio. Both Programs cover topics from robotics and mechatronics, software programming, basic electronics and mechanical engineering, advanced programming, and Al & Deep Learning. Our classes cater to students from Kindergarten to Grade 12. ARC has partnered with schools in Cebu City and Lapu-Lapu City since 2020. More than 600 students (and counting!) have benefited from robotics classes in the last two years. ALGOrhythm Robotics Center official opens on October 8, 2022. School Partners:

COMPANY FOUNDERS 

Hannah Louella M. Go Managing Director

Hannah is a music education graduate from St. Theresa's College in Cebu. She is also a Violin Scholar Alumnus and a former Assistant Concertmaster of Dr. Ingrid Santamaria’s Cebu Youth Symphony Orchestra and Peace Philharmonic of the Philippines. She used to be the Assistant School Directress and Chief Finance Officer of Asian leaming Center. Aside from being the training director for ALGOrhythm Robotics Center, she is also the founder and owner of Virtuoso School of Music. Albert Causo Program Director

Albert Causo has been a roboticist for more than 15 years. He obtained his Master's and PhD in Robotics from the Nara Institute of Science and Technology (NAIST) in Japan. He finished his Chemistry and Computer Engineering undergraduate degrees at Ateneo de Manila University. He was a faculty member of the Department of Electronics, Communications and Computer Engineering at Ateneo de Manila in the Philippines. He is a former Senior Research Fellow at the Robotics Research Centre at Nanyang Technological University Singapore (NTU). As a robotics scientist, he has published more than 40 papers on various applications of robots in logistics and manufacturing, education, and rehabilitation. As an entrepreneur engineer, he has co-founded two robotics companies in Singapore. The first company, Hand Plus Robotics, specializes in robotic picking solutions for the logistics, manufacturing, and healthcare industries. The second company, Transforma Robotics, specializes in construction robots. He has built and deployed robots for companies such as DHL, Mitsubishi, Swiss Precision Industries, Singapore Armed Forces, and Singapore General Hospital. Albert has led robotics teams that have won intemational competitions, including the Amazon Robotics Challenge (2017, 1st Place), DHL Robotics Challenge (2017, 3rd Place), JD.com Robotics Challenge (2018, Finalist), IROS Mobile Manipulation challenge (2018, 1st Place). He was also the coach of the Singapore team for the Advanced Robotics Chalienge at the World Robot Olympiad (WRO) in 2016.

Detwyn Yang Go Deputy Director

Delwyn graduated from Ateneo de Manila University with a degree in Business Management in 1998. For eight years, he was a marketing and operations professional focused on start-ups and expansion for the Information Technology Industry through companies such as Intel and Microsoft. He has since shifted his attention to the financial industnes, serving as a financial consuttant these last 16 years in the life insurance industry. Delwyn is a dedicated business development professionali, having recerved the Million Dollar Table Awardee 10 times (and counting)!
