CEBU, PHILIPPINES — More than 600 runners gathered at The Mactan Newtown on September 26, 2026 for Road to Give: Night Pulse, marking the first time Marriott International’s annual charity run was held at the township and a successful turnout for its Cebu staging.
Organized by Sheraton Cebu Mactan Resort, Fairfield by Marriott Cebu Mactan, and Fairfield by Marriott Cebu Mandaue City, the evening run brought together Marriott associates, partners, and members of the community for a night of movement, camaraderie, and giving back.
The event marked the second Road to Give run organized by Marriott International properties in the Philippines this year, following the successful Clark Pampanga Run, and forms part of the initiative’s 12-year journey of running and giving back to communities.
“It was truly inspiring to see more than 600 people come together for Road to Give, especially as this is our first time holding the event at The Mactan Newtown. The turnout is a testament to the generosity and community spirit of our associates, partners, and participants. We hope to build on this momentum by expanding the event even further next year and reaching more people who can join us in supporting this meaningful cause,” said Ria Ledesma, NextGen Officer and CMCA Director of Residential Services.
Road to Give is Marriott International’s annual charity run initiative that brings associates, guests, partners, and communities together through a movement to raise funds and support charitable causes. In the Philippines, the initiative is supported by the Marriott Worldwide Business Councils Philippines (MWBC-PH).
